Robert Lambert

 

Robert Lambert has left behind a unique legacy.  Rarely have offensive linemen been acknowledged for their contributions.  Lambert was received honorable mention as an offensive tackle on the 1973 team.  The versatile Lambert moved up in status the following year, being named to the MEAC second team Despite being moved to offensive center, Lambert was equally impressive.  The NFL was so impressed that he was signed by with the Buffalo Bills.

Due to the love for his alma mater, Lambert would later return to Howard to tutor players and later serve as a recruiter

​

Following that development, Lambert returned to Howard and serve as a mentor to the players and also served as a recruiter. 

He was a mentor to all and a Howard football recruiter.

After graduating from Howard with degrees in Special Education and shared his football knowledge at John Marshall High School in his hometown of Richmond, Va. He would also later at Parkdale High School in Prince George's County in Maryland.
