INDUCTION: 2026

SPORT(S): WOMEN'S TRACK

Michelle Felder-Jones, from Baltimore, Maryland, is the proud mother of Quentin II and Diamond and wife of Patrick Jones. She credits the late Coach William Moultrie with changing the trajectory of her life through his mentorship, guidance, and unwavering
belief in her potential. Howard University provided her with the opportunity to develop as a student-athlete, and Coach Moultrie remains one of the most influential figures in her life.

While majoring in accounting, Michelle earned six All-America honors in track and field in the 400m dash and 4 x 400m relay. In the 400m dash, she ranked among the top 10 in the United States, top 50 in the world, and qualified for two U.S. Olympic Trials. After
a brief professional career, her focus shifted to raising a family and instilling in her children the values of academic and athletic excellence.
In 2021 at age 53, Michelle embraced a new challenge by entering the sport of bodybuilding. In 2022, she earned IFBB Bikini Pro status and has since won two professional titles while continuing to compete.

Professionally, Michelle is a mathematics professor at Western Kentucky University and a dedicated advocate for educational opportunity and community service. She is also a personal trainer and nutrition coach. She serves as Treasurer for her local NAACP branch and the Bowling Green Freedom Walkers. As the first person in her family to earn a college degree, Michelle believes that hard work, perseverance, and faith can transform lives and create lasting opportunities for future generations.
